Four-season comfort. Strength from a single-piece body.
In Gladiator and New Ronin XL, Hotomobil combines a single-piece fiberglass composite shell with thermal insulation. Together, they create a living space designed for road conditions, protection from rain and comfort in summer and winter.

What does monoblock mean?
Monoblock describes a main body formed as one continuous shell. This structure surrounds the living space, giving the cabin integrity and reducing the need for long joints between separate body panels.
Fiberglass composite combines glass-fibre reinforcement with resin. The fibres provide reinforcement; the resin holds them together. This brings low weight and strength into the same body.

Separate panels
Wall and roof panels meet along assembly seams. Each joint needs its own connection and sealing detail.
One continuous shell
Monoblock forms the main body as a whole. Fewer panel seams create a more continuous structure around the living space.

THERMAL INSULATION / FOUR-SEASON COMFORT
Keep the warmth.

Stay comfortable longer.
20 mm high-density polyurethane insulation slows heat transfer between the living space and the outside.
In winter, it reduces heat escaping from a warmed cabin. In summer, it slows incoming heat and helps a cooled interior retain its coolness.
This is the principle behind the “thermos effect”. The monoblock shell and insulation work with heating, ventilation and cooling where fitted to support four-season living comfort.
